Day 1.- Spain | Amman
Flight from Spain to Amman.
Upon arrival a private transfer will be waiting for us to take us to the chosen hotel.

Day 2.- Amman | Ajlum | Ferash | Amman
Half board scheme.
We will visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and rebuilt later in the 13th century by the Mamluks after their destruction by the Mongols; a castle from the time of the crusaders, located at the top of the mountain and from which a beautiful view is contemplated.
Then, we will leave for Jerash, one of the cities of the Decapolis, which is located north of Amman. During the excursion, we will visit the Arc de Triomphe, the oval square, the thistle, the colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite, ending in the Roman theater, with a wonderful acoustic. The preservation of the ruins of Jerash is surprising even today, which allows one to get an idea of ​​how the cities of the time were.
At the end of the visit, we will return to Amman to enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 3.- Amman | Madaba | Mount Nebo | Umm Er Rassas | Petra
Half board scheme.
We will take a panoramic tour of the city of Amman. We will continue to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic-map of Palestine is located. Later, we will go to Mount Nebo, to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This was the last place Moses visited and from where the prophet saw the promised land.
In the afternoon, we will leave for Petra; on the way we will visit Um Er Rassas, an old camp that houses Roman, Byzantine and early Muslim vestiges. The ruins of the archaeological site, has more than a dozen Christian temples, some of them, with mosaic floors, highlighting the Church of San Esteban.
We return to enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 4.- Petra | Little Petra | Wadi rum

We will dedicate the full day to the visit of the pink city, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the tour, we will get to know the most important and representative monuments sculpted in the rock by the Nabateans. We will start with The Treasure, famous and internationally known monument made into the cinema in one of the Indiana Jones films, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs and the Monastery.
In the afternoon, we will travel to the nearby town of Al Beida, also called “Little Petra”. After knowing this caravanserai, we will go to Wadi Rum and receive dinner at the camp.

Day 5.- Wadi Rum | Aqaba
Half board scheme.
After enjoying free time, we will make a two-hour visit to the Lawrence of Arabia desert; a small foray in 4 × 4 vehicles driven by Bedouins (6 people per car), in the lunar landscape of this desert, observing the wonders that nature has done with the erosion of rocks and sand.
At the end of the tour, we will move to Aqaba, and we will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 6.- Aqaba | Dead Sea
Half board scheme.
We will have the morning free in the city of Aqaba, whose gulf is the only outlet to the open sea in Jordan; the marine fauna of its waters is a sight worth seeing. Later, we will move to the Dead Sea.
We will enjoy dinner at the hotel chosen for our accommodation.

Day 7.- Dead Sea
Half board scheme.
We will have the day off to enjoy the Dead Sea. This lake, which borders Israel, the West Bank and, of course, Jordan, has high salinity, which will prevent us from sinking.
It is said that its waters and mud have healing properties that we can benefit from.
To end this relaxing day, we will have dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 8.- Dead Sea | Amman | Spain
After breakfast, we will go to Amman to fly back to Spain.
Arrival and end of the trip.
